After our discussions about corporate wear this morning, I ended up wearing something semi business appropriate to work today. I say semi, cause I’m not sure the low cut neckline and crossed back are actually business appropriate, but you know, whatevs.
This is a sweater I’ve only worn a couple of times, and the last time was a couple of years ago. It was actually on the pile of things to get rid of, but I had a change of heart. It is my favourite colour (well, one of my favourite colours), and therefore a little hard to part with.
I also have a bit of a rant for you today. You may remember that I recently went on a bit of a shopping spree at City Chic during their Buy the Bra, Get the Undies for Free sale. Well, I finally wore the leopard high-waisted undies today, which means I have worn every piece I bought on that occasion and it’s time for a review. Conclusion: I am not impressed with City Chic underwear. The bras are uncomfortable - they rub and leave marks and are quite painful by the end of the day. The gingham underwear doesn’t sit nicely and is constantly riding up or rolling down, and the leopard rolls down from the top. All in all, I would not recommend, I’m sorry to say. The belt is great and I enjoy the top (I generally am happy with their clothes), but I would not buy any of their underthings again.
