You know how winter just drags on, cold miserable day after cold miserable day, and after a while you just forget about summer entirely. It’s like, winter is all there is, and summer is this far off concept that isn’t going to raise its lovely head for … you know.Ages.

Someone mentioned yesterday that we’d had a lovely day in Melbourne and that it was a pleasant reminder that spring is just around the corner, and it was this beautiful awakening for me. YES, I thought. Spring IS just around the corner.
WHICH MEANS MORE BRIGHT AND SUMMERY DRESSES, YAY!
Sorry, antipodeans. You’re probably sick of summer and hanging out for warm fire places and cozy throw rugs. But for my part, I can’t freaking wait for ice cream in warm evenings, fruity cocktails, and gingham!
