Fortunately, mine did - so I’m going to pass some of her wisdom on to you now.  Don’t grow up to be the kind of woman who tears other women down. Poor noonecaresaboutyouslut here is doing it wrong. Why spend your life pointing out what you believe to be other people’s flaws? What good does it do you? noonecaresaboutyouslut had to delete her account because she made a bad decision and the Internet turned on her. What do you think she hoped to accomplish by comparing a beautiful, confidant woman to a whale? Do you think it made her feel good about herself to say something so needlessly cruel? Probably not. But we’ll never know, because now she’s gone.  Strive to be the kind of person who always makes other people feel good. You don’t have to dish out compliments like they’re candy, just accept good people for who and what they are. Life will return your kindness and understanding over and over again. Yes, there will always be a Yuckface who shows up to remind you how nasty people can be. But thanks to your positivity, you will be surrounded by people who love you, and who will defend you. Like the kind of folks who chased noonecaresaboutyouslut right off the Interwebs.  People like Tess are rare. People who smile through tough times. People who make you feel comfortable in your own skin. People who truly believe in themselves. But they don’t have to be rare. You can be one of them.  My mom taught me this when I was a little girl:  “Be the change you want to see in the world.” - Mahatma Gandhi So think about that the next time you think about leaving a nasty anon comment, or the next time your friends are making fun of someone at school. When you’re a positive person, the world is your oyster. When you’re a turd, you’re just a turd.  I love you Natalie.. I love you so much it hurts.
