cuuunts asked: Silly question, but I have a wedding this weekend, and a very pin-up-esque dress to wear. How in the world do you get your make up to look so good with your glasses on? The dress is emerald green, if that makes any difference. You're the only person I know that continually rocks pin-up style dress AND makeup with glasses. Any advice is mondoly appreciated! :)

I’m sorry, but I am going to be a huge disappointment to you … I generally don’t wear much makeup when I wear my glasses! I just don’t see the point in taking time on eye makeup when I’m wearing glasses, cause I figure you couldn’t see it anyway, so I just put on powder, blush and lip gloss. When I go out at night I usually wear contacts, and then will put on eye makeup. Sorry to not be a help at all! If anyone has advice, please do chime in - I too would be interested to learn any tips!

  2. blackcat-magick said: Purple and black (go easy on the black) smokey eye would look great with any eye colour and it compliments the dress. Or go light on the eyes with a slick of liner into a cats flick and do bold lips. Lightly fill in brows for a more groomed look.
  3. things-with-teeth said: I second the vote for cat’s eye makeup with glasses. I use a matte shadow that’s a little lighter than my skin and then use a black liquid or gel liner. To be fair, since I never wear contacts but love eye makeup, I got glasses with larger frames.
  4. larrylowfive said: I generally just stick with some eyeliner on the top lid, a little bit ‘catty’. + the usual blush, lip colour if wanted etc.
  5. frightfulishrelease said: go matte! shimmer and glitter will get diffused and distorted by your lenses, so a really classic matte pin-up eye will look wonderful with glasses; just keep the wing thinner and shorter than you normally would (neutral browns compliment green!)
