Dia de los muertos! My husband and I took the short peeps to a Halloween night on Saturday night, last year we were a zombie family and this year we were a day of the dead family. Holy fuck that makeup takes a long time to do! We didn’t even do it as we’d planned as we ran out of time, the petals around my eyes were meant to be red with red jewels in each petal and the heart on my chin was meant to be red as well. My daughter was going to have pink petals with pink jewels and a pink heart and the boys were going to have aqua blue accents. Gutted we didn’t have the time to do it, but I’m still pleased with the result.
