The Jenny skirt in Harlequin print from Pinup Girl Clothing. I freaking love this print, so, so much. It is a great skirt, positively voluminous - I can’t even estimate how much fabric is in this thing. I think I will have to get it - eventually - in other prints.

Sorry I’ve been incommunicado lovelies! We went away to Auckland for the weekend to attend a friend’s wedding and I was computer-less. I was also useless at taking photos while I was away, so this is the only outfit photo I got, taken before going out with a lovely friend on Friday night, for a yummy dinner and then to the Auckland Easter Show. We were quite possibly a tad overdressed, but whatevs.
I am so freaking excited to finally have this dress - it is a Deadly Dames style from a few years ago, and while it was still available on the Pinup Girl Clothing site I debated about getting it until it was too late - they sold out in my size and then discontinued it. I have regretted it ever since and have been trying to find one. My friend Saffron finally decided to sell hers to me, and I am so freaking grateful - it is as amazing as I imagined it would be! Green leopard print ALL the things, IMHO.

Sam and I went to the Burlesque Masquerade Ball last night, and this is what we wore. It was a totally good time. Though I am not too badly hungover today, I am not too proficient with words either … :)

This is my new Deadly Dames Malibu Tiki dress from Pinup Girl Clothing - I wore it for the first time to a burlesque show. I love this dress so much - the colours are amazing, the fit fantastic, the bolero adorable and whoa, is it ever boobilicious! I felt great in it, which is a bit of a departure for me since I usually only wear swing dresses.

I wore this to Dr Sketchy and the opening of a play yesterday - the Deadly Dames Fetish Folly Tie Me Up dress in fetish print. I absolutely love this dress: the quality is amazing, the print is quirky and fun, the colour is beautiful; it is just all around gorgeous dress. I do feel the need to wear a cami under it though, as I think it would be positively indecent without. Even with Hollywood tape. But I like how it looks with a cami, so I am ok with that. I wore a purple petticoat underneath, but because the fabric of the skirt is so heavy and this particular petticoat not overly poofy, you couldn’t really tell.
